Quirarte, Jacinto, 1931-2012

Jacinto Quirarte is a professor emeritus and former Dean of the College of Fine and Applied Arts at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). As an art historian, he concentrated on Pre-Columbian art history. In addition to numerous articles, Quirarte wrote The Art and Architecture of the Texas Missions, which was published by the University of Texas Press in 2002.
